About us ...
We have two year 4 classes at Tudor School. 4U’s class teacher is Mr Munro who is assisted by Mrs Knight, and 4V’s class teacher is Miss Tripp who is assisted by Mr Wendleken. Additionally, Mrs Rafiq-Craske teaches in 4V for a day each week and Mr Higgins and Mrs Smith teach in 4U for half a day each.
Mr Munro is our phase leader for Lower Key Stage 2.

Given out on Fridays, handed in on Wednesdays. Reading every day (approximately 15 minutes per day).

Autumn Term Theme - Is it right to fight?
What were significant turning points in British history?
What were the reasons behind the World Wars? What was it like to be a war evacuee?
This term, we will be exploring the effects of both World War 1 and World War 2, and learning about key events and developments within them.
This theme will be integrated across most subjects, such as in English, where we will be writing from the perspective of an evacuee, or Geography, where we will be labelling cities which were affected by the bombing in the Blitz and why these were the targeted cities.
