Kindness is one of our three core principles here at Tudor school, alongside Respect and Responsibility.
We know in schools that kindness is one of the antidotes to unkind behaviour and even bullying in some places. It helps to improve social interactions and emotional wellbeing. It is one of the most important values we have in our school and we know many of you will share the importance of kindness in your homes as well. The more explicitly we can encourage our children and young people to notice and share this value, the more kind our environments will become.
This year we are delighted to be introducing a new group of children in Years 5 and 6 to the role of Values Ambassadors. These children will have a shared responsibility for promoting the values throughout the school and are good role models, who are seen to be living their values both in and out of school. Their main role is to help the younger children with values and British Values activities, to help with events within the community and to meet and discuss how we could further promote the values within our school.
Please do visit the values section of our school website (within the 'Our School' tab) to find out more about values at Tudor.
