Year 4 are always looking for new ways to improve their knowledge of the times-tables.  This week, we spent some time looking at the 9 times-table and, more specifically, the 9-times table finger trick.  If you're not sure what that is, find a year 4 on the playground - they will tell you all about it!  We decided our fingers weren't quite big enough, so we used some children as human pinkies!

It worked brilliantly, and we enjoyed being outside for Maths - it felt a bit like PE with all the jumping! Look closely and you can see Rachel is almost flying!  We're 9 times-table experts now, so which ones next?
