Some more great things to share from our second week of Easter holiday activities.
Hi Year 2,
Well, it's the end of the second week of the Easter holidays. Time flies! It has been really lovely to see lots of you and lots of your grown ups this week as your new learning packs have been collected. If you haven't tried your Seesaw login yet, then have a go this weekend. From next week, this is where we will set your work and also where you can show us what you've been doing. You'll even be able to record yourselves reading so that we can hear you read.
Thank you to everyone that has sent us photographs this week showing what you've been up to at home. We've had a super mixture of seaside and Easter-related activities along with lots of other ideas that you've come up with yourselves. Here are some of them.
Hannah's fish tank (see the picture above) was so good that even the mermaids are considering moving in!
Kayla has been really busy. She made this Easter basket complete with super-cute bunnies and is growing her own plants. It was also her birthday at the weekend and she made (with a little guidance from her mum) her own birthday cake. It looks amazing!
Daisy used her new telescope to look at the pink moon, painted lots of rocks (Tudor Rocks!) and also created her own super bunny comic.
Florence has been busy doing lots of Easter crafts including making awesome eggs and a cuddly sock bunny.
Maisy has been doing Easter crafts and sharing the things that she has made with her neighbours to cheer them up. What a kind thing to do! I bet they loved them.
Meanwhile, Miruna has been busy reading and Ollie made a new friend on his walk.
Olivia's caterpillars have each formed their own chrysalis.
Amelia created a seaside drawing and uploaded it to Seesaw. What a great start!
Yesterday, we posted Aiden's amazing seagull artwork. He also made his own beach in a box complete with fish, sunbathers and a Lego crab.
Rosa not only made her own colourful beach hut but also created a beach to go with it. It's such a relaxing place to be that there are already some visitors.
They're not the only ones enjoying the sunshine this week. Mr Cosby's sheep have had a haircut to help them to keep cool. They look very different without their big, fluffy fleeces.
Well done everyone for all of your awesome efforts this week. On Monday, it's back to home learning. Remember to go to Seesaw to find out what your tasks are each day and to upload your work. You can still email us too and do let us know if you need any help with Seesaw. In the meantime, have a wonderful weekend and we're really looking forward to being in touch with you all again next week. Stay safe.
Best wishes,
Miss Scott and Miss Cosby
