Another amazing week in 6Z! Read on to find out more...
In English, we have been learning about the Greek myth, “Theseus and the Minotaur”. We have been hot seating the characters Ariadne and Theseus to understand how they were feeling throughout the myth so that we can start to write diary entries next week.
In maths, we have been learning about ratio and how to use scale factors to enlarge or decrease the size of a shape. (Our maths homework is linked to this as well).
In history, we have been researching the Parthenon and learnt about the controversial topic of “The Parthenon Marbles”.
In science, we took part in experiments investigating refraction to understand what it is and how it works.
Key Information:
- Homework continues to be set on Google Classroom and SPaG.com.
- Our Greek workshop is on Wednesday 26th May.
- A letter went home this week about a brilliant opportunity for the Year 6’s to go skiing for four sessions, during school time, after half-term.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via the red book.
Well done for having a fantastic week 6Z! Keep it up and have a lovely weekend!
