For our first art lesson this Summer, we have started with sketching still-life objects. The objects were a range of beautiful flowers.

We reminded ourselves of the range of techniques to use whilst sketching and shading and also said that we need to be careful with what angle we are observing the flower and the way we view the flower should be transferred into our sketches.

Finally, we added shading to our sketches to try and make them look realistic and almost 3D.
