One of our favourite days in the term is always 'Computing Day'. This half-term, we were given the task of being 'bug fixers'. This included using prior knowledge of algorithms to spot where an error was. We started by looking at how we can create a safe password and why we do this... Some of us even made a password that would not be guessed in... 

Quite impressive, eh?! 

We had mini-tasks chunked throughout the day, but our favourite part was our independent task where we had to fix the algorithm independently!! Although we did find it tricky, it was the perfect balance of having patience and using our problem-solving skills. Here are a few pictures of our work throughout the day! 

BUT... the fun didn't stop there. This week in Science, we were allowed to conduct our OWN experiment!!! Whilst the classroom was a noisy one, it was full of hands on experimental learning. We recorded the results from our planned experiment (see previous blog post) and presented this information in a table and poster. Here are a few examples:

Finally, to finish our week, we have been working extremely hard over the last two weeks writing a persuasive text. It was our job to persuade our tribes to join Boudicca's army... we split this into different sections
