Not only was it the beginning of December, we had a busy week of learning too. However, our top highlight was a Great British athlete coming to visit us! 
 

Our GB athlete came to visit on Friday (he plays in the Olympic team!) and inspired us all to follow our dreams. We eagerly awaited his arrival this morning, then sat and watched his assembly. He told us all about himself, showed us some skills and even got Mr Higgins to show off some ball tricks! Later in the morning, we completed circuits to get our blood pumping and hearts racing.

    

In Science this week, we have been investigating forces even further, identifying whether materials are magnetic or not. Here is an example:

In Art, we have also been looking at combining photos with backgrounds through editing. Most of year 3 were experts...

Finally, some lucky children have been invited to Woodland club this half term. They are absolutely loving it... even if it is freezing!
