This half term we have been thoroughly enjoying out new topic all about animals.
We have been developing our fine motor skills by using tweezers to feed baby birds! It was very tricky not to drop the worms in the birds nests.
We have also been developing our skills with using PVA glue, ripping up tissue paper and practising to spread the glue evenly to create a parrot collage.
We also learnt about the life cycle of a caterpillar after ready the story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle.
The children used different pasta shapes to illustrate the life cycle and help them explain to their friends what happened in each stage.
