Tudor Primary School Governing Board Vacancy

The governing board has been able to support Tudor Primary School through a number of changes over the past few years. As the school has completed its transition into a successful 2 form entry primary school, the board of governors has been a vital part in helping the school move forward.

The current board is a professional and committed group of people who really want the best for the children and families of our school. It is also a group of people who enjoy supporting the school and the community which it is part of.

As well as helping set the vision for the school, governors have a key role in monitoring the performance.

We are excited to announce that we have a vacancy for a new parent governor. Each family will receive a letter this week that will explain some more about what this voluntary role involves.

Being a governor is an extremely rewarding role. Here are some quotes from the current governing board about what they do and why:

“It’s about wanting the best for my children at  school. Providing challenge and support for the leadership team, making sure the school provides the best it can for its community and ensuring our school thrives on the journey ahead....”

“I like making a small contribution to helping children have a happy and fulfilling experience in education”

Do keep an eye out for further information about this vacancy. There will be further documents that can be accessed via the website that will provide additional information about what the role requires.
