Tudor Primary School

We look forward to an(other) successful year...

It was wonderful to see the children return this morning. The first day back is always an exciting time and it was super to see all of the smiling faces on the playground.

As you are aware, we have changed the 'official' start time of the day and it was pleasing to see families arriving promptly for 8.45am. Children in years 5 and 6 do need to remain on the playground side until 8.45am so that we can keep them safe. Parents of children in upper key stage 2 (year 5 and 6) are encouraged to allow the children to access the main site themselves as this helps build independence.

As my visits to classrooms (as well as our first assembly of the year) evidenced, the children were very quickly settled and ready to learn about their new themes of learning. Please remain committed to enabling your children to have a full experience of school.

Lunchtime was also rewarding and the range of new activities on offer from our sports coaches ensured that all ages were busy and having fun with each other. We continue to invest in the high quality resources for the children of Tudor. In addition to new equipment and activity, the children are clearly impressed with our latest upgrades to the school site. Let's be honest, your children DERSERVE the best!

More information about the new term will be released shortly and  parents will be able to access additional guidance about each year group. Keep an eye on this website- it should always remain your first 'port of call' for keeping informed.

2022-2023 is sure to be another awesome year for Tudor Primary. We pledge to remain at the CENTRE of the community,

All at #TeamTudor look forward to working in partnership with you all.
