Raising the profile of PE...and SAINSBURY'S VOUCHERS

To raise the profile for inspiring sporting success, we have arranged a visit from British athlete Elizabeth Cann to the school on Friday, 03 March. This is part of the ‘Sport for Schools’ project.

Elizabeth started playing badminton when she was six years old. She's been coaching (and still playing) for the last two years and is passionate about passing her skills to others.

On 3rd March, Elizabeth will be delivering a sponsored sports circuit that all children will be able to enjoy. Your child should have received a sponsorship form to use in order to help raise money for the event.

You can also sponsor your child by following the below link:

www.sportsforschools.org/event/HP500

As well as being able to support GB athletes (including Paralympic athletes) the money we raise will be used to buy sports equipment for the school.

Please ensure that sponsorship forms and the money raised are returned to the school office by Friday, 10 March.

Additional information will be sent to you nearer the day.

Thank you in anticipation of creating a terrific and memorable event.

VOUCHERS...

On another note, please keep continuing to bring Sainsbury's vouchers into school: they really make a difference! The children adore being able to use new equipment whether on the playground or in the hall...
