Tudor Primary School

The penultimate week of term!

There has been no slowing down this week in Year 3!
As well as looking at the Christmas Truce in WW1 during our English, we have started looking data handling. We really enjoyed looking at bar chars and thinking about what they tell us.

Here s some of our work:

We looked at how many people were asked as well as the most plus least frequent were.

Also this week, we had a go at coding! Someone had been stealing our biscuit rations! We had to make an alarm to stop that happening!

Using the microbats, we looked at how to create a sequence to make the alarm sound when it was moved OR came in contact with light.

First of all we thought about how it as to write all the steps clearly- we became human robots and wrote a code to put out coats on. It was ticker than you might think!

Then we got out the microbits...

It was LOTS of fun!
