Extreme environments are not just cold and hot biomes, but mountains are very extreme. In Year 5, we have been finding out about how they are formed and how tectonic plates move.

When they move, they can rub together and cause Earthquakes. We have found out how some buildings have been designed to help prevent damage... then we had a go at designing our own!  
 

We are now going to use CAD to produce a model of our building... keep your eyes peeled for updates.
