Since the start of the year, Year 5 have been looking at how to separate materials in mixtures and solutions. 
It was a usual sort of science lesson, until Loki (the Norse god of mischief) decided to mess with the kitchen's supplies.... but YEAR 5 to the rescue! 
We quickly used our science knowledge to use filtering, sieving, magnetism and evaporation to solve this problem.

Once the plan was made, we had a go at seeing if it would work!
