This term, our topic for Science in Rocks and Soils. Last week, the children observed different types of soils and described them using scientific vocabulary. This week, we were looking at the permeability of soils and tested three different types - clay, top soil and compost. As part of all Science lessons, the children were also developing their working scientifically skills. For this investigation, it was all about setting up an experiment and making a prediction.
