This week, we focussed on the history of Guatemala, a country in central America, and the significance of 'worry dolls' in their culture. We earned that the legend is about a Mayan princess who was gifted a worry doll from the sun god, and now worry dolls are used for children to tell their worries to, place them under their pillows, and by morning the worry dolls will have the skills and knowledge to resolve their worries!
