Once again, there has been lots of fun learning going on in 6Z!
In science this week, we have been evaluating our results from our plant experiment. We were investigating how taking away water, air, light or nutrients, affected a plant.
In art, we have been practising different techniques when working with clay, which we will use when we create our Maya masks in a few weeks time!
In geography, we carried out some field work by using rain gauges to measure how much rainfall we have had over the last week. We used this data to compare it to the average rainfall in either El Salvador, Belize, Honduras, Mexico or Guatemala (the countries that once made up the Ancient Maya Empire!).
