What an exciting end of term!

Today, Year 5 got together to celebrate what they have been learning about this term.  To round off our Space topic, the children participated in the ultimate challenge....The Space Nations (move over 6 Nations we have an intergalatic competition for you!).

The 8 planets battled it out (via the medium of tag rugby) until there was just 1 winnner- well done Jupiter!  Some well played matches and we all had fun!

After that, awards for the reading challenge were announced.  Over the last term, the children in Year 5 have been working to collect different awards based on the types of books they are reading.  The children who had collected the most awards were as follows....

Second place:  5C- Iwan  5D- Chantelle

First place:  5C- Ben  5D- Tivona

OVER ALL WINNER (the most from both classes)............MILLIE!
